Innovating Entreés Since 1989

Since 2000 identical twins Sherry and Shelly Biscaro with longtime friend  Marina Ciesla have been cooking up some delicious food at the Poppyseed Restaurant. The Biscaros are Buffalo, New York natives and have been working in the restaurant business as early as eight years old. Most of their favorite childhood memories come from helping out their father at a local pizzeria. Both can fondly remember enjoying 50¢ ice creams
with him every Saturday after a job well done.

Their friend Marina, a Lancaster, New York native also enjoyed the restaurant business at an
early age. Before teaming up with the Biscaros, Marina gained experience working for various restaurants in Western New York. The three have enjoyed a very strong friendship for over 15 years.

All three owners love what they do and have made many lifelong friends along the way. Their mission is to make every visit something you'll remember, and their food is an example of what one can make with great dedication and determination.
